About the Scheme

The JHFC scheme is a private certification that verifies product information, manufacturing control, labeling and test documents, and assigns a certification number to products meeting defined checkpoints.

Eligible Products

Health foods, supplements, nutritional foods, plant-derived ingredient foods, vitamin/mineral foods, and others JHFC deems appropriate.

Certification Number

Format: JHFC-CF-YYYY-NNNN (e.g. JHFC-CF-2026-0001). CF = Certified Food.

The certification number is a management number for cross-checking product information and documents. It is not a government permit number, a foods-with-function-claims notification number, or a drug approval number.
